Pearl Gray

A city woman moves to Salt Spring Island and deepens her relationship to the earth.

I moved to Salt Spring Island in  1991 after a business career in Vancouver and owned and operated Cottage Resort on St. Mary Lake. During that time I finished a degree in Art History from UBC, wrote Salt Spring Island: A Place to be and painted.

I sold the resort in 2004 and devoted myself to the craft of writing fiction.

On this site you will see some of my paintings and excerpts from my second book, Zabel. I hope you enjoy my paintings and my first work of fiction.
